On October 1, 2020, Ambassador Cui Jianchun paid a courtesy call to the Honorable Speaker of the National Assembly of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Manzoor Nadir, and extended warmest congratulations to his speedy recovery from COVID-19.

During the meeting, Ambassador Cui and the Hon. Speaker exchanged views on the friendly bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas between the two countries and agreed to together promote the communication and collaboration between the two legislations of the two countries in order to further enhance the China-Guyana relations.
