On January 19, 2021, Ambassador Cui Jianchun bid farewell to H.E. Dr. Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. President Ali spoke highly of the Guyana-China relations and reiterated Guyana's commitment to the One-China Principle. Ambassador Cui thanked President Ali for his valuable support for the development of the relationship between the two countries and expressed his confidence in that the pragmatic cooperation in various areas including the fight against COVID-19 will be further enhanced in the future.
