On January 19, 2021, Ambassador Cui Jianchun bid farewell to the Honorable Prime Minister of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Brigadier Mark Phillips. Ambassador Cui and the Prime Minister reviewed cooperation between the two countries and the important achievements made under the joint efforts of both sides. The Prime Minister highly commended Ambassador Cui's contribution to the bilateral relations and the development of Guyana. Ambassador Cui said that he was proud to see so many mutually tangible benefits attained during the past 4 years and expressed his best wishes for the continued friendship between the two countries and the two peoples.
