On November 2, 2021, Chinese Ambassador, Mme. Guo Haiyan, handed over the 2nd batch of table tennis equipment donated by the Chinese Embassy to the Ministry of Education of Guyana, which will benefit 50 secondary and primary schools in different regions of Guyana.

This cooperation project was initiated by the Chinese Embassy, the Ministry of Education and the Guyana Table Tennis Association in 2019. Since then, 100 sets of table tennis equipment have been donated by the Chinese Embassy.
